The fourth edition of Sports Fiesta was held on May 18th 2018. Like the previous years, it was held at the Hougang stadium and Sports Hall.
In keeping the track and field tradition alive at SGS, the best runners from the houses and CCAs completed in the 4x100m relays. Lichfield did especially well this year grabbing the majority of the honours, eventually winning the Choo Seng Quee cup this year.
The second segment of the day focussed on mass participation, saw the different levels compete in interclass competitions for the enjoyment of sports. Floorball was played by the Sec 1s, Badminton by the Sec 2s (these being the sports taught in PE), football for the Sec 3s and 8x50m and 100m races for the graduating students.
We finished off with our first rendition of the school cheer at the school level.
Sports Fiesta 2018 had the whole student population take part in friendly competition, being active and excited about sports.
